National Account Manager - Lowe's

Eaton's Electrical Sector - Residential Wiring Devices division is seeking a National Account Manager. This is a hybrid role based at our Eaton Morresville facility. Candidates must currently reside in the Charlotte/Mooresville, NC metro area to be considered. This role also offers a company vehicle.

As the National Account Manager for Lowe's, you will be responsible for executing and driving a retail sales plan that delivers both sales and profit growth across Eaton's existing and new Residential Electrical Wiring Devices product portfolio. You will serve as the primary point of contact managing the business relationship with the Key Category Buyer and their support teams at Lowe's Home Improvement, reporting to the Director of Sales -- Lowe's.

Additional responsibilities include analysis of sales reports, managing pricing integrity for assigned accounts, communication with and support of customer service, evaluating POG's and suggesting adjustments based on item performance and market research, understanding local electrical code requirements, creating a strong working relationship with key decision makers at Lowe's, willingness to solve problems and work with cross-functional teams on new opportunities for growth.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for all aspects of Account Management for Eaton's Wiring Devices business with Lowe's Home Improvement.
  • Lead all sales calls, annual business reviews and develop key presentations to effectively drive initiatives for customer category and Eaton.
  • Generate and achieve annualized sales budgets; identifying, pursuing and securing new sales opportunities; and maintaining and growing existing businesses, all with a focus on profitability and share growth for both Eaton and Lowe's.
  • Collaboration with internal and external forecasting teams to provide guidance for planning purposes -- this includes leading supply chain and demand planning meetings and ensuring inventory on hand/on order is in line with needs.
  • Developing and executing profitable promotional strategies and tracking/reporting results post event.
  • Managing expenses as it relates to Co-op, Operations, Chargebacks and ensuring spend rates remain within budget.
  • Coordinate with Lowe's Merchandising Service Team to ensure optimal in-store execution, including Planogram (POG) compliance, promotional activity and display execution.
  • Communicate the strategic initiatives of account to internal Marketing, E-commerce and Product Management teams to align on key customer initiatives.
  • Support internal teams in the completion of item setup and maintenance in retailer platforms including cost changes when necessary.
  • Obtaining, interpreting, and utilizing available data (including but not limited to, Account POS (IRI/Retailer Specific), Shopper Insights, etc. to monitor, track and proactively address item performance.
  • Lead, coach and develop (1) direct report.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of Sales, Account Management, Merchandising and/or Retail Category Management experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience with premium brand national account management calling on 'big box' retailers such as Lowe's, The Home Depot, Walmart, Target, or other similar retailers.
  • Unrestricted driver's license with good driving record and ability to travel up to 30%

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience working in electrical or building products industries.
  • Previous experience with internal and syndicated systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Customer specific sales portals, and data and content organization to support the needs of sales management.
  • Seven (7) years of demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration within highly matrixed organizations, consistently achieving financial and budgetary targets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers, driving alignment with customer business plans while applying advanced conflict resolution skills to maintain productive relationships.

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $142,000-$209,000. Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
