Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a MVD - Waterspider - 1st Shift on 1st shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $22 per hour.a

What you'll do:
Position Overview:
The Water Spider will ensure material availability at point of use to designated zone of product line. Stage all parts per Job for each work center to ensure they are available. Frequently check the paint line, DMM Orders, and eShortage for needed parts. Communicate with the assembly team and help look for missing parts. Communicate to planners for parts that have not arrived in order stay ahead of the team and prevent line stoppers.

In this function you will:
• Pickup full racks and deliver empty racks ensuring the paint line has a clear rack to load multiple times per shift.
• Unload paint carts to assembly locations in a timely manner
• Pickup and deliver to assembly locations plated part, micarta, and copper
• Track parts shortages and fill out shortage sheets
• Create NCMRs as needed
• Reorder NCMR'ed parts through AS400
• Assist with parts expedites as needed, including adding HOT items to Tier Board
• Regularly Drive Fork truck to get parts and move parts
• Daily use of BOMs, DMM, Enovia, and AS400 to search for and understand parts and delivery
• Complete all work related tasks assigned by your Lead, Supervisor, or Manager
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• No relocation offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Arden, NC in order to be considered.
• Authorized to work in the United States without Company Sponsorship.
• Minimum of 1 year of direct manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months of fork truck operation/driving experience
Preferred qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• Previous Material Handling Experience
• Associate's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification
• Preferred candidate should have a working knowledge of the manufacturing operations.
Skills:
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of Bills of Material
