Mould Shop Operator

What you'll do:

• Operate both Injection and Compression Moulding machines.

• Undertake manual assembly tasks for which training has been given.

• Monitor output and record all information on relevant documentation.

• Show awareness of orders and dates to meet delivery times and customer requirements.

• Ensure tasks and output are to acceptable standards in accordance with Company Quality Policy and procedures.

• Observe and adopt safe working practices in accordance with Company Health and Safety Policy and all relevant health and safety legislation; i.e. HASAWA 1974 etc.

• Ensure that 5S+ Standards are observed and sustained.

• Undertake training necessary for development as agreed with Team Leader/ Supervisor.

• Communicate problems affecting role or responsibilities to Supervisor.

• Recognise customers and promote satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Skills:

Basic Injection and Compression Moulding knowledge/ experience.
Basic concepts of statistical process control.
NVQ/ QCF Level 1 in Injection Moulding.
