Materials Planning Analyst
Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Materials Planning Analyst.
What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Maintain precise control of inventory levels to ensure the provision of raw materials and correct prediction, through effective planning materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for the proper execution of raw material requirements planning at Bussmann facility to satisfy production plans and customers priorities.
2. Monitor and control raw material inventory levels, using the available reports in SAP system.
3. Maintain up to date purchase orders data, vendor info records and MRP master data fields to ensure material availability and accurate inputs into MRP process.

4. Analyze, monitor, and provide weekly/monthly reports based on ABC (documentation main detractors) of appropriate inventory levels and forecast data of the plant, in costs and production days, to resolve work related issues or problems, meet profit, material and metrics related inventory planning (targets and goals).
5. Participate as an active member in MRB (Materials Review Board), liaise vendor related activities for material disposition and ensure the proper management of rejected materials flow. Responsible for RMAs (Return Materials Authorization) request and negotiations with vendors.
6. Provide support in customer service improvement plans, costs reduction projects, demand planning decisions and products changes to facilitate manufacturing, optimize logistics processes, operations processes, projects Materials/Supply Chain from the objectives of the company.
7. Participate in Daily Production meetings and Departmental Teams, to strive for a positive impact in service levels, safety, and inventory.
8. Provide direct support to finance department for physical inventory process.
9. Monitor and track the metrics of key business indicators (SRM-Supplier Relationship Management), such as on-time delivery (OTD), quality (PPM), price stability, flexibility and service.
10.Support the introduction of new products and designs in production lines, as well as transfers of existing products.
11. Comply with EQS and Lean procedures, perform specific functions to this position describe at the Quality Manual and with Eaton and policies.
Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS):
1. Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with the MESH Coordinator.
2. Assist to all EHS training assigned.
Qualifications:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
1. Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineer, Business Administration or related areas.
2. Minimum 1- 3 years of experience in Materials, Operations or Supply Chain management in a manufacturing environment.
3. Bilingual (Spanish/English)
4. PC knowledge: Microsoft Office tools, SAP, and MRP.
5. APICS Certification preferable.
6. Project management knowledge and negotiation / interpersonal communication skills.
