Materials Handler
Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Materials Handler.
The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour.

What you'll do:
Position Overview:
The Material Handler is responsible for assessing, acquiring and moving material requirements in support of Production processes. This person will be expected to transport materials (Raw, finished goods and scrap) from Receiving areas to Stores to final point of use using a variety for equipment and methods. Computer system interface (input/output) will also be required.

• Follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
• Operate forklift with care and with awareness to people and environment around machine
• Ensure forklift is properly stored, fueled, cleaned, and ready to operate
• Perform maintenance on machine as needed
• Follow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks
• Move inventory and materials across facilities
• Stack and organize large bulk items
• Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location
• Carry inventory for shipping to proper truck
• Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations
• Make note and request any damaged parts or replacements needed
• Submit inventory records and log at close of day
• All other duties assigned by supervisor
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High school degree or equivalent
• Two (2) years' experience working with heavy machinery, forklifts, or other related equipment.
• Stand up forklift experience required.
• Periodic re-certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bilingual English and Spanish

• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must have the ability to multi-task.
• Must work well in team environment.
• Must be able to secure and maintain Powered Industrial Vehicle Certification
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established productivity and accuracy standards.
