What you'll do:
Eaton's Fluid Filtration Division (FFD) is currently seeking a Material Handler & Forklift Operator to join our Williamsport, MD team on 1st shift.
Eaton is a leader in liquid filtration which helps its customers make clean and pure products spanning a range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, industrial and municipal water, petrochemicals, marine, automotive, agriculture and construction equipment, or power generation.

What you'll do:
• Operate forklifts (articulated and counterbalance) to retrieve, relocate, and organize items and packages in the warehouse
• Package, label, and palletize filtration products for shipment
• Maintain an organized packaging process involving various product types, quantities, and packaging needs
• Inspect finished products for compliance with Eaton's quality standards
• Assist with the inventory cycle count process in the warehouse
• Collaborate and communicate with the warehouse Shipping & Receiving Coordinators to ensure efficient and well-prioritized order management
All manufacturing employees at Williamsport are also responsible for:
• Complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standards
• Complying with all work and process instructions
• Identifying improvement opportunities
• Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job
• Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.
• Completing any initial or recurring training issued by the site or Eaton
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• Forklift certified within the last three (3) years
• Minimum one (1) year of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Reside within a 50-mile radius of Williamsport, MD
o No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
o Candidates who are active duty military members are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience operating both articulated and counterbalance forklifts
• Basic computer and software skills
