Material Handler- 3rd Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Material Handler- 3rd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $21.84 per hour plus a $.50 per hour shift differential. The regularly scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00pm - 7:00am. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The Material Handler will operate all mobile equipment and lifting systems safely and sufficiently.

In this function, you will:

  • Successfully operate rigging equipment including nylon straps, wire braided straps, wire braided chain slings, sheet stock handler, rail rack attachment, and spreader bars.
  • Successfully operate a fork truck, crane, and combi lift
  • Wear fall protection body harness and lanyard

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Troy, IL facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing experience
  • Forklift operating experience
  • Overhead crane operating experience
