Master Technician - Engineering

Eaton's Power Components Division is currently seeking a Master Technician - Engineering. This is an on-site position based at our Moon Township, PA facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

What you'll do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Master Technician to support product development and testing activities. This role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical testing of prototypes and production samples, documentation of test plans and results, and collaboration with engineers to improve product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute test programs under the guidance of project engineers.
• Assemble new products using engineering drawings.
• Record and report test data with clear, objective analysis.
• Recommend design improvements based on test outcomes.
• Develop and maintain automated test systems and documentation.
• Maintain equipment and follow standard testing procedures.
• Mentor junior technicians and share technical knowledge.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution OR Associate's degree in Electrical, Electronic or Technology from an accredited institution and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role in the electrical field OR High school diploma/GED and minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical role in the electrical field

Skills:

• Detailed skill in use of computer for test documentation and analysis
• Ability to safely use basic, advanced, and specialized machinist tools
• Working knowledge of shop equipment maintenance procedures
• Working knowledge of equipment testing procedures
• Interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members to problem solve
