Marketing Director - Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division

The Marketing Director leads strategic direction and execution for marketing and sales within the Electrical Engineering Services and Systems (EESS) Division, which generates approximately $700M in annual revenue. Reporting directly to the Senior VP/GM, this role is a key member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for aligning sales and innovation strategies with the division's growth, profitability, and operational goals.

What you'll do:

• Lead the division's Strategic Planning Process, ensuring clear communication, stakeholder input, and adherence to EBE documentation.
• Develop market research and analysis to support strategic conclusions and create final Strategic Plan documents in collaboration with the VP/GM.
• Oversee internal communication planning and facilitate annual reviews to improve the strategic planning process.
• Manage the Technical Application Support team to deliver high-quality, market-sensitive technical proposals. Standardize proposal processes and tools, including Big Manager, to ensure consistency and quality.
• Drive execution of strategic marketing initiatives outlined in the Strategic Plan, EBS Pull Events, and Profit Plan.
• Establish and manage pricing and channel policies to maximize value.
• Monitor market performance, competitive positioning, and economic trends to inform new initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership on product and service innovation, ensuring customer insights are integrated via ProLaunch and Product Roadmapping.
• Partner with North American Sales and vertical leaders to maximize EESS market penetration.
• Support sales success through training, marketing collateral, and promotional programs.
• Cultivate executive relationships with strategic partners to enhance revenue opportunities.
• Develop marketing talent through coaching, training, and succession planning.
• Manage division marketing budgets and sales allocations.
• Represent EESS in trade associations, standards bodies, and industry events.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in technical marketing, sales, product management, or strategic planning.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree
• Experience in the electrical industry, including service operations, engineering, or sales.
• Prior P&L responsibility and M&A experience.
• Proven track record of market share growth.
• Strong executive communication skills.
• Familiarity with value-based pricing and price realization.
• Experience working directly with sales staff and distributors.
• Deep understanding of electrical market segmentation and channel dynamics.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $198749.97 - $291499.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
