Manager Supply Chain and Customer Service

Eaton's EPG LAC PQD Power Quality Division division is currently seeking a Manager Supply Chain and Customer Service.

What you'll do:

Job Summary
This position plays a key role in the Supply Chain organization ensuring an effective Order Management and an overall Customer Services experience. Functions will include customer order processing, intercompany purchasing, backlog follow-up and communication. Mainly interacts with internal suppliers, customer service, warehouse and logistics teams and both internal and external customers to provide a single contact point.

Job Responsibilities
• Sales orders reception and entry (acknowledge to customer).
• Order management for customers and distributors.
• Interact with internal suppliers and customer service teams from Eaton Corp.

• Expedite orders to ensure customer expectations are met and/or exceeded.
• Implement time management skills to prioritize orders according to business requirements.
• Provide customers and distributors with accurate product information.
• Actively work backlog and open orders to maximize revenue by the end of the month.
• Proactively communicates with customers regarding order validation, order status and shipment information.
• Work directly with internal customers departments to ensure order fulfillment.
• Key Performance Indicators monthly reports On Time Delivery.
• Keep track of pending orders to invoice according to terms of sale.
• Proactively improve processes to deliver world class service. • Meet any other activity assigned by your supervisor or special requirements of the company.
• Active participation in continues improvements programs and committees.
• Comply the Eaton Business System (EBS), in foundations, Planning, Growth, Functional Excellence, Assessment and Learning, mainly in the Eaton Business Excellence (EBE); ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 and its tools (such as: Eaton Quality System (EQS), Eaton Lean System and Six Sigma-ELS, HR Operating Review and Employee Survey.
• Know and comply the Policies: Global Ethics, Values and Philosophy, Management Environmental Safety and Security and Health (MESH)."

Qualifications:

Education level required
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering from an accredited institution required. • Master degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field from an accredited institution preferred.

Years and area of experience required
• Minimum of 5 years' Supply Chain Manager experience & leadership role in a large company required.
• Minimum of 3 years Supply Chain experience in a medium/large manufacturing facility (150+ employees) required.

Technical knowledge
• Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts scheduling, purchasing. supplier selection, inventory control, logistics and shipping/receiving.
• Strong knowledge on international trade laws and Mexican customs.
• Strong knowledge of supply and purchasing systems.
• Detailed knowledge of the concepts and tool sets of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) in relation to material management.
• Competence in computer skills Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Management).
• Knowledge of MAPICS (creation of PO, inventory management, MRP).
• VISTA and Global VISTA application (order creation, order maintenance)
• MENTOR, SIOP, APICS certification
• Good knowledge of the distribution and transportation centers in Mexico.
