LVA Water Spider 2nd shift

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a LVA Water Spider 2nd shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour.

The core hours are 3:30 pm to 2:00 am.

What you'll do:

The LVA Water Spider - 2nd shift will ensure material availability at point of use to designated zone of product line. Kit all parts per the Bill of Material for a work center and ensure they are available prior to assembly start. Frequently check the accuracy of bills of materials and work towards improving their accuracy. Communicate with the fabrication and supply chain team in order to ensure part availability and shortages.

In this function you will:
A. Pull BOM Packets and sort through them for drawings and information
B. Utilize e-shortage system to track parts needed
C. Support Kanban system
D. Monitor change notice system
E. Gather assigned Steel into kits
F. Gather bought outside components on BOM and stage with steel kit
G. Track parts shortages and fill out shortage sheets
H. Stage and transfer kitted products to line for assembly
I. Manage parts coming off the paint line through proper cart management
J. Manage boards used for assembly purposes with B2
K. Locate and pull parts from tower when needed
L. Expedite needed parts for assembly
M. Drive Fork truck when needed to get parts and move units
N. NCMR parts as needed
O. Communicate engineering issues through appropriate channels
P. Communicate with purchasing around bought outside material availability
Q. Ensure material is available and/or ordered for the next shift's production

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution
• Authorized to work in the United States without Company Sponsorship
• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Arden, NC facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous Material Handling Experience
• Associate degree or bachelor's degree
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification

Skills:

• Preferred candidate would have a working knowledge of LVA manufacturing operations.
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of Bills of Material
• 6 Months of manufacturing experience or equivalent educational experience
