Logistics Supervisor
Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor. The position will be based at our facility in Arden, North Carolina.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

What you'll do:
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible managing employees and processes involved with Shipping, Receiving and internal Material Handling for the Arden, NC site. This position ensures all shipments are made to support customer OTP, minimize cost, and focused on quality and safety. The Logistics Supervisor will oversee receiving process to ensure financial transactions are made correctly and material is available for use by production. This position leads internal material handling efforts, with a focus on material availability and rack management. This position requires managing very diverse groups of employees throughout the plant and working cross-functionally with various groups within the plant, to drive improvements to customer OTP, cost-out and material availability, while maintaining a constant focus on quality and safety.
In this function you will:
• Ensure superior customer service standards are met / maintained by the logistics group.
• Responsible for ongoing supervision, training, and development of direct reports.
• Accountable for meeting budget requirements of assigned activity center, including salary of direct reports, inbound and outbound freight costs.
• Create and maintain an environment that promotes excellent communication within the work environment and foster teamwork with all associates.
• Develop and strengthen working relationships with freight providers.
• Responsible for all operational activities related to shipment of products including maintaining ISO Work Instructions/standards, packaging activities and transportation claims.
• Provide continuous leadership including teaching, training, motivating, mentoring, and coaching of department associates.
• Coordinate third party services providing transportation, warehousing and information for optimal service.
• Manage and execute shipments consistent with service and cost objectives.
• Manage Logistics objectives to achieve cost outs and/or cost avoidance.
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, including 5S requirements. Additionally, responsible for reporting unsafe conditions to appropriate management or ELS/EHS representative. Correct unsafe hazards and conditions. Timely closure of correction actions including inspections and investigations.
• Develop cross-functional training plan to allow the flexing of resources from one area to another.
• Continue to drive focus and improvements on the Rack Management process for the plant
• Other assignments/projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Associates degree from an accredited institution or Bachelors degree from an accredited instutition obtain by May 2026 required

• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience

Preferred qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations or Business from an accredited institution.
• Experience in logistics and logistics account management.
• Experience with inventory management
• Experience in a continuous improvement/LEAN/Kaizen environment.
• APICS CPIM Certification
Position Criteria:
• Proficient in MS Office, to include intermediate Excel (V-look ups, pivot tables).
