Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Lean Manufacturing Coordinator.
What you'll do:
Basic function:
Identify and eliminate waste within the organization to achieve cost reduction goals through the use and application of Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement tools. Provide leadership to Critical Systems by driving applicable Eaton Business System tools including Strategy Deployment (EBS Pull), Operations Assessment (OpA), Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) to strengthen a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Main responsibilities and authority:
• Lead and/or facilitate Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) projects, Eaton Business System (EBS) strategy deployment, Operations Assessment (OpA), and deploy ECIS through tactical activities and facilitation of kaizen events.

• Support development of site ECIS knowledge, coach & grow talent on Continuous Improvement (CI competencies).
• Support the site OpA/ ECIS assessment and calibrate for Opportunities for Advancement (OFA).
• Prepare and conduct ECIS related training and development on-site ELSS knowledge.
• Plan, develop and execute an annual cost savings strategy to hit the financial target defined in accordance with the divisional goals.
• Cost Out Project Management at Costverse.
• Promote a strong deployment of safe work environment while promoting maintaining high levels of 5S+ across all product lines in the plant.
• Serve as a mentor in problem-solving practices with a focus on the Operating for Growth framework, guiding teams in structured root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
• Mentor & support candidates of Lean/Six Sigma Certification programs throughout the certification process.
• Develop ECIS / CI deployment procedures.

Qualifications:
Education level required:
- Industrial Engineer degree or familiar
Years and area of experience required:
- 3 years of experience
Technical competencies:
- Expert in Lean Manufacturing Tools (Lean / Six Sigma certification)
- Knowledge of Lean Material Flow and line balancing
- Cost Out Strategy Execution
- Project management: Ability to lead and manage improvement projects from planning through execution and sustainment.
Skills:

ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM RESPONSABILITY
• Separate dangerous residues from the normal trash
• Place the dangerous residues (gloves, cloths, etc.) in the assigned containers.
• Maintain area clean and free of contaminants.
• Not waste of water or electricity.
• Report any activity that can put in risk my safety and environment.
• Identify and give adequate disposition to all chemical products which can contaminate the environment.
• Acting immediately in chemists' discharge case.
• Ensure the rights containers for disposition of dangerous residues (identifying containers and containers to prevent discharge)
