What you'll do:
As Lead Financial Analyst in Eaton, based in Budapest, you will be responsible for covering 7 legal entities spread across France, Spain and Italy. You will manage a small remote team of 3 colleagues, one in each of those 3 countries. Team scope focuses on tax, month-end closing and account reconciliations.

Further responsibilities:
- General Ledger activities:
- Full ownership of the Trial Balance with monthly reviews and correcting actions including follow ups with various departments and Team members.
- Manual journal review and approval.
- Support and follow up on any Payroll related queries and adjustments.
- Month end Closing:
- Review and approval of all I/Co postings.
- Review and/or preparation of all Accrual and Prepayment journals.
- Headcount recharge approval and confirmation of calculations.
- Preparation of Balance Sheet account reconciliations and follow up on reconciling items.
- Fixed Asset Accounting.
- Tax and Transfer pricing:
- Support and review the annual Audit Tax pack.
- Address and respond timely to all Transfer Pricing related queries.
- Assist in responses to Tax office queries (VAT and others).
- Fostering Team cooperation across Eaton Budapest and Pune centers, especially focusing on the outsourced activities (AR & AP) at third party provider.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Finance & Accounting studies, Master degree is considered as advantage.
- Relevant work experience in Financial Analysis or Financial Accounting, especially in a BSC/SSC corporate environment.
- Skilled in people management, experience leading a remote team is preferable.
- Knowledge in ERP systems like Oracle OR Sap, advanced experience in MS Excel.
- Adaptable, confident, leader type personality, who is able to motivate and develop team members.
- Skilled in influencing key stakeholders, driving process improvement, quality mindset.
- Able to work at Eaton Budapest site in hybrid working setting.
- Strong business English, other European language knowledge is advantage.
