Eaton's Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division designs, manufactures, and services Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, batteries, and electronic-based products to ensure power reliability in the most demanding applications.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $93,750 - $137,500 a year.

What you'll do:

The Lead Configuration Engineer's primary responsibility is for the management of the UPS Services Bid Mananager take-off (UPSS) and its interface to the Service Configurator and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) quoting tools. This includes maintenance, new service additions, and continuous improvement for the configurator to support product line goals and ease-of-doing-business support to Eaton sales teams. In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop pick rules for adding new features and services, resolving performance issues (bugs) & driving high system availability (minimizing downtime) for UPSS take-off.
  • Support price increases in coordination with Product Managers and Pricing team to ensure configurator pricing is accurate and launches at the same time as SAP pricing changes. This includes coordinating with other Bidman take-off that include services stay current and aligned with pricing changes for concurrently sold services.
  • Lead communications with sales on changes to the UPSS take-off, providing internal & external training to business and sales users of the take-off to improve configurator utilization & reduce user errors (100+ users).
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of PowerBI reports to analyze quoting activity for CPS Services in legacy Service Configurator and CPQ, providing reporting to Service Product Line Management (PLM) team on usage, trends, statistics.
  • Coordinate with Service PLM team to ensure the right sales collateral and business Terms and Conditions/ Standard Of Work documents are attached to quotations

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Information Technologies from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in engineering or computer science
  • Willing to travel up to 10%
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • No relocation is being offered for this position. Candidates locally residing within 50 miles of Raleigh, NC will be considered. Active Duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the electrical industry; power management experience preferred.
  • Experience in a role that demonstrates analytical and leadership abilities, time management, positive direct customer interaction and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently

Skills:
