This role is based in Waukesha, WI. Relocation assistance will be provided.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.

What you'll do:
The Lead Application Engineer is to provide product engineering support to the marketing team for both internal and external customers and support for all voltage regulator marketing initiatives. The Engineer will support International and domestic regions.

In this role you will:
- Conducts detailed specification reviews to evaluate customer requirements, ensure alignment with Eaton's product scope, and identify pricing features, exceptions, lead-times, competitive alternatives, testing, inspection, and documentation needs.
- Delivers production application training to Inside Sales, Sales Agents/Reps, and customers.
- Act as a key liaison for technical product support, addressing specifications, test requirements, and customer inquiries while building strong relationships through industry meetings, site visits, and plant tours.
- Provide product training to internal teams and customers, and support Product Specialists with pricing strategies informed by market feedback and competitive analysis.
- Contribute to marketing and NPD efforts by gathering Voice of Customer (VOC) insights, assessing trends, and supporting promotional activities including presentations, publications, and training seminars.
- Serve as a cross-functional link among engineering, marketing, scheduling, and customers, maintaining knowledge of industry standards (ANSI, IEEE, CSA, NEMA) relevant to transformers.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering or Business
- Four (4) years of experience in technical marketing, engineering, or manufacturing (may include internships or co-ops)
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree
- Ability to speak and write Spanish fluently. Bilingual in Spanish and English; at a minimum, the ability to understand and to make oneself understood in Spanish.
- One (1) year of experience using ERP and quotation systems
Skills:
- Knowledge of electric power voltage regulators and their components and accessories.
- Knowledge of typical applications, equipment, systems, and standards for electric power voltage regulators.
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills to support internal and external contacts within a multi-cultured environment.
- Detail oriented, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and work to deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), SAP or other ERP related system and the ability to utilize such tools to analyze data and solve routine problems.
- Must be very customer and commercial centric.
