Lead Analyst - IT Payroll, Time & Labor
What you'll do:
The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable solutions for Payroll and Time & Labor systems.
• Develop, configure and maintain full-stack applications for payroll and time tracking systems.
• Collaborate with architects and analysts to design system components and integrations.
• Configure and implement time and attendance applications (e.g., UKG PRO WFM (Dimensions)). If candidate have any prior experience in Kronos Workforce central and UKG PRO WFM (Dimensions) would be an added advantage. If not he/she should be willing to learn it.
• Partnering with vendors for system implementations and migrations.
• Author high-quality, unit-tested code and ensure responsiveness and performance.
• Support testing phases including SIT, System Testing, UAT, and Regression Testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, traceability matrices, and documentation for all implementation and testing activities.
• Participate in Conference Room Pilots (CRP2) and data migrations.
• Collaborate with external partners during migration and testing phases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
7-10 Years
Skills:
• Payroll, Time & Labor Platform Knowledge: Knowledge of Payroll and Time & Attendance module. Payroll processes, it's configurations and integrations with other systems like HRMS, Payroll and other boundary systems. Understanding of Pay policy frameworks, timecard approval workflows, absence tracking, accrual management.
• Test Strategy & Planning: Capable of designing test plans, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables for Payroll and Time & Labor implementations. Should be able to perform SIT, Regression, Performance testing and Security testing.
• Defect Tracking & Resolution: Proficient in using tools to log, track, and close defects during SIT, UAT, and parallel testing cycles.
• Any prior knowledge on Test Automation tools like Tosca would be an added advantage.
• Agile methodologies: Experience with Agile development practices and DevOps processes using Jira and Confluence would be an added advantage.
Excellent proficiency with the English language (written and verbal). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Self-motivated, passionate, curious in learning new skills, technically savvy that can pick up Payroll/Time & Labor concepts quickly.
Multitasking and strong Organizational skills.
Interest in AI and how this can be used for Payroll/Time and Attendance in the future
Comfortable with leading cross-functional teams including QA, developers, SMEs, and business analysts during implementation and testing phases.
