LATAM Procurement & Logistics Leader

Eaton's ES AMER EPG division is currently seeking a LATAM Procurement & Logistics Leader.

What you'll do:

LATAM Procurement & Logistics Leader will drive the Division Procurement and Logistics Management and Functional Excellence strategy. The Procurement and Logistics Leader will develop and execute short and long-term plans to achieve the annual profit plan objectives while aligning strategic initiatives with Electrical Sector Americas and the PCS Division

  • Deliver on annual divisional Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) PP goals through management of new supplier terms and improving existing suppliers terms.
  • Deploy divisional commodity strategies (Indirect, Direct, Field Service Subcontractors and Logistics) and align with the sector and corporate strategies to drive supplier consolidation, improved quality, on-time delivery and cost-out
  • Accountable for accurate monthly reporting in partnership with Finance
  • Lead Supply Chain Digitization efforts by developing/ identifying automation opportunties for reports, processes and tools related to procurement and logistics functions.
  • Drive Supply Chain Resiliency project accross the different sites in LATAM
  • Increase GPS utilizaiton in the region, specifically in realtion to suppleir controlling, Supply Chain Policies implementation (Code of Conduct, Supplier Categorization, Exception Management).
  • Drive Supply Risk Management Initiatives focusing in Business Continuity Management, Supplier Tooling Management and Supply Chain Contract Management as part of EBS and OpA functional excellence criteria.
  • Ensure utlization of SPIR tool across the region (Suppleir Price Increase Request)
  • Supports Logistics and Global Trade Mangement compliance and utilization of corporate suppliers in the region.
  • Controls logistics, warehousing and distribution costs in the region supporting both Corporate, ESA and PCS initiatives.
  • Ensure proper utilization of PFAT (Premium Freight Approval Tool), to reduce CONC levels

Qualifications:

Education level required: Engineer or Business Bachelor Degree, Master Degree Preferred
Years and area of experience required: 5 years of combined experience on a leading position in Procurement and Logistics functions

Skills:

Technical knowledge:

  • ERP Knowledge
  • Incumbent must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish or Portuguese)
  • Sound working knowledge of Logistics and procurment Process and Tools

Soft skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.
  • The position will require travelling up to 25% of the time in order to visit and understand the different organization and sites on the LATAM region, having daily communication with the different supply chain teams in the region.
