Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Label Technician 1st shift.

The hours for this role are 7:00am-4:30pm

The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

Summary:

The Label Technician is responsible for creating production job folders and/or binders and then printing and/or creating all labels and bands needed for production. This position ensures accurate labels are produced according to company, customer, and DOT requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Job Folder/Binder creation
Job folder creation using Digital Workbench Software following Pressure Technology Solutions (PTS) Standard Work process.
• -Identify and allocate materials needed for job and record associated serial numbers in master liner logs
• -pull all manufacturing and winding documents associated with job to include in folder

Space Binder creation following PTS Standard Work process.
• -Identify and allocate materials needed for job and record associated serial numbers in master liner logs
• -pull all manufacturing and operation instructional documents, diagrams and logs associated with job to include in binder

Label Production
• Owner of the Label Printing Process as described in PTS Standard Works - Create product labels for production jobs based on folders and binders.
• Perform visual inspection of printed labels to ensure they are legible, serialized and numbered properly, barcodes and QR codes are readable.
• Maintain master file of liner log and of all printed labels including serial and liner numbers - record accurately all lot codes and serial numbers for traceability.
• Work with Production, Planning and Operations to understand and anticipate demand for labels for the near (weekly schedule) and long term (forecasted product growth).
• Work with Supply Chain on ordering and management of blank label stock to help avoid production delays due to limited inventory.
• Perform routine care and maintenance of the label printers.

General Label
• Act as resource for evaluating new label designs/materials and any label modifications.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate keen attention to detail and task-related accuracy, as well as consistent follow through skills.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience OR 1 year of Military experience

Preferred:

• 2- or 4-year degree in graphic design
• Skills such as organization, communication, personal computing, capacity management, and auditing standard work
