What you'll do:

As a Junior Digital Engineer you will bring domain expertise to contribute to following areas of activity of Eaton Software Digital based projects:

- Support senior engineer with technical scope definition and clarification when needed at pre-sales stage

- Support Senior/Lead Engineers to produce and/or validate engineering documentation

- Coordinate Software site deployment and testing (including onsite works when needed) with Senior/Lead Engineers

- Support Senior Engineers to resolve escalated technical suport requests related to area of expertise.

- Provide L1 and support L2 technical support with support from Senior engineers.

Software solutions offering includes EPMS, SCADA, DCIM, MicroGrid, and Energy Management System solutions implemented in range of different electrical infrastrucutres (i.e. Data centers, Industrial and commercial buildings).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science/Power management/Electrical engineering/EE/STEM related subjects.
  • Understanding the principle of power distribution system including MV/LV switchgear, Transformer, UPS and EPMS/DCIM/SCADA system
  • Software and hardware knowledge of PLC, HMI, Network Infrastruction, IED programming and logic control concept is a plus.

Skills:

  • Fluency in English and French
  • Self-driven and solution oriented behaviour when solving high complexity technical problems
  • Intercultural awareness, ability to prioritize and efficiently deal with multiple tight deadlines
  • No major restrictions on travel in EMEA region and/or to the USA. Driving License. Flexibility with traveling within home country and across EMEA up to 25%.
