Eaton's Corporate Information Technology team is hiring an IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to support three of our Electrical Sector Americas businesses. The preferred locations for this position are Raleigh, NC or Moon Township, PA, but Chicago, IL, Beachwood, OH, Galesburg, MI, Menomonee Falls, WI, or Houston, TX will be considered. This position requires 20-25% travel. Candidates must live within 50 miles of these locations as relocation assistance is not available.

This position is for an IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to partner with the Distributed IT (DIT), Critical Power Solutions (CPS) and Engineering Services (EESS) Divisions totaling a $2.7B business. These businesses are rapidly growing and serve the Data Center industry among other areas.

As an active member of the DIT, CPS, and EESS Leadership Teams, you play a vital role in aligning IT strategies with customer goals, consistently advocating for the customer. You ensure that your customers understand and align with IT strategies and guiding principles. You are responsible for identifying and eliminating projects that don't align with IT strategy, offer limited business value, or duplicate existing enterprise solutions. You make sure that all solutions support and adhere to architectural standards, and when no standard exists, you collaborate with the architecture team to establish one. You are accountable to your customers for the success of service providers and serve as a trusted advisor, introducing innovative ideas and technologies. Through the BOC, you influence IT structures that support your customers across value chains, development, and production support.

• Identify opportunities, projects, builds consensus across customer base and IT, develops business cases to secure funding, Spans multiple business functions.
• Ensure scope of projects are well-defined for transition to delivery Value Chains
• Ensure all stakeholders are engaged, projects are completed and return on investment is realized
• Review escalated issues for scope and clarity, vetting, documenting and routing through the appropriate support mechanisms
• Delivery assurance of medium and large-sized initiatives leveraging the Value Chains
• Ensure effective level of support for existing systems/processes
• Ensure significant projects are delivered effectively and reliably to meet the strategic business objectives, acting as Decision Gate Committee (DGC) members
• Ensure all stakeholders are engaged, projects are completed and return on investment is realized
• Directionally aligned to a small business or a large functional group within a business
• Demonstrates Financial Acumen through Capital Appropriation Request (CAR) preparation, budget management and profit planning
• Directionally aligned to President/SVP/VP/GM level leadership and possibly in more than one region
• Perform vendor management and contract, negotiations and reviews
• Participate as a member of IT Strategic Plan councils
• Lead complex process and organizational change management.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of professional experience in IT business relationship management, IT Application management, or related IT positions.
• Minimum 2+ years ERP and Manufacturing application experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience within the electrical or power distribution industries preferred.
• Experience and understanding of service business models.
• MBA or other advanced degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience leading projects in a global/multinational setting.
• Comfortability within SAP/ERPs including navigating implementations and upgrades

Skills:
• Advanced understanding of IT industry trends and applicability to operations.
• Advanced to SME understanding of integration and impact points of involved systems globally for a division or function.
• Intermediate understanding of IT industry trends and applicability to operations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• High level of adaptability and resilience in the face of change.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $141000.03 - $206800.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
