Eaton Industries (Canada) Company located in Delta, BC, has an opening for a 8-month internship opportunity in our Sales Department.
Our Eaton - Delta, BC sales office is responsible for sales, service and support of Eaton product including Electrical Distribution, Automation & Control, Power Distribution and Circuit Protection in the Sales region. The successful candidate will assist the Sales office with any / all inside sales functions including, but not limited to, quotations, technical / product support, data entry & analysis, order entry, and order management.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with inside sales - quotations, data entry & analysis, order entry, and sales support.
- Assist our quotation department with project / RFQ single line and specification review.
- Assist our quotation department with assembling quote packages and RFQ file management.
- Supply our outside sales team with inside sales support, such as fielding technical product inquiries, order entry, and order expedites.
- Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Values and Philosophy, as well as the Safety and Environmental Standards

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical, Mechanical or Power Systems Engineering or business-related Degree or Diploma Co-op program,
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
- This position does not offer relocation.
Preferred Qualifications
- 0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution and/or control products.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management capabilities.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Passion for innovation & continuous improvement, and willingness to challenge status quo.
