Join us in shaping the future of smart manufacturing. As our Industry 4.0 Engineer, you will drive the digital transformation of our Dubai Campus into a world-class i4.0 Lighthouse Plant. You'll lead the design, implementation, and scaling of cutting-edge technologies-IoT, automation, AI, and digital twins-to optimize production and set new benchmarks for innovation and efficiency.
What you'll do:
- Lead the i4.0 Roadmap: Develop and execute the Digital Factory Accelerator (DFA) strategy in collaboration with global and local stakeholders.
- Build Internal Capabilities: Manage the i4.0 Connected Learning Centre and deliver training programs to upskill teams across the factory.
- Deploy Smart Solutions: Implement IoT systems across MCB, PCBA, and injection moulding lines to enhance integration and performance.
- Drive Automation: Collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Schrems plant to roll out smart warehousing, AMRs, and ARC systems.
- Develop Digital Twins: Create and maintain digital twin models and Brightlayer systems for real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance.
- Ensure Cybersecurity: Partner with IT to align all OT technologies with the latest cybersecurity standards.
- Optimize Performance: Conduct testing, monitor system health, and continuously improve IoT infrastructure.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineers, IT, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of i4.0 solutions.
- Manage Projects: Lead small-scale digital projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on digital transformation.
Skills:
- Proven expertise in MES, ERP, and change management systems.
- Strong knowledge of machine connectivity, data protocols, and IT/OT integration.
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Kepware OPC-UA, Ignition, and SCADA.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project management and business acumen
