Indirect Buyer - German Speaker
What you'll do:
The Indirect Buyer will play a pivotal role in managing the procurement of indirect materials and services, including capital equipment, for Eaton's operations in Hungary. This position focuses on low to medium spend suppliers and is responsible for supplier selection, sourcing, contracting, and cost optimisation.
Acting as the primary liaison between Eaton Manufacturing Hungary Kft in Győr and its vendor base, the Indirect Buyer will ensure procurement activities align with Eaton's strategic objectives, supply chain policies, and IATF standards. The role also supports the execution of EMEA category strategies in collaboration with country and category managers, as well as local site teams.
- Establishing contractual coverage with suppliers using Eaton templates and DocuSign CLM tools, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Negotiating pricing agreements and improved payment terms, whilst ensuring systems are updated accordingly.
- Implementing supplier strategies, benchmarking, resourcing activities to ensure optimal costs and prefered vendor selection.
- Managing price increase requests in line with Eaton's policy and negotiating favourable outcomes.
- Developing and maintaining supplier relationships to enhance performance metrics.
- Generating reports to monitor vendor performance, inventory status, and consignment stocking.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives relevant to the role.

This position requires regular travel, with a minimum of one day per week spent on-site at the Győr facility, commuting from the Budapest office. Travel expenses incurred for this commute will be reimbursed in accordance with the company's travel policy.
Qualifications:
- BA/Unviversity degree
- 1-3 years
Skills:
- Fluency in Hungarian, English and Gernain is mandatory
- Indirect procurement experinece, manufacturing environment preferred, good knowledge and experience of the Hungarian market
- Microsoft skills
- Fluency in Hungarian, English and Gernain is mandatory
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ethical conduct, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively are critical
