What you will do:

The Global Trade Management (GTM) Import Analyst will join the EMEA Global Trade Management Import Team, and will be responsible for supporting the overall import, customs and compliance functions in the EMEA region.

As part of the GTM Import Team, you are expected to play a highly visible role within GTM function. You are expected to partner with your manager, team members, and coordinate with various functions and departments to align practices and improve import processes for the GTM import function.

This role will cover a wide scope of trade management and customs activities and tasks in the EMEA region.

Experience in the following domains:

- Provide daily support to the EMEA business on customs compliance and import flows.
- Assist the GTM Manager in maintaining and reporting import data of the various businesses and sites and analyze them.
- Assist with internal customs audit initiated by the import team.
- Assist with the collection of transfer pricing date related information and explanation to the businesses.
- Provide preferential vs. non-preferential analysis in relation to free trade agreements.
- Attend key GTM trainings and virtual sessions/e-learnings.

Profil we are looking for:

Qualifications:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and have 3-6 years of experience in customs or trade compliance.
  • You are fluent in both English and French (C1 level).

Skills and Knowledge:

  • You have a solid understanding of HS code classification, customs valuation, and the origin of goods.
  • You are familiar with customs procedures like deferment accounts, customs warehouses, IPR, and AEO.
  • You have experience with Incoterms and drop shipping models.
  • You can read and interpret customs laws and regulations with ease.

You are a self-starter, highly motivated.
You can also work as a Team player, able to work in a team setting.
You possess an excellent organization and analytical skills.
You must be adaptable and resilient to constant changes in job duties, priorities and the internal/external business and regulatory environment.
Able to work within tight time constraints. Ability to work unsupervised.
SAP GTS skills are a plus. Microsoft Suite skills required.
