Human Resources Vice President

Eaton's Mobility Group is currently seeking a Human Resources Vice President (HR VP) to join our team. This position is based at Eaton's Southfield, MI location and relocation assistance is offered.

The HR VP will lead all aspects of strategic human resources for a global $3.5B business with approximately 13,000 employees across 37 facilities. The HR VP reports directly to the President of the Mobility Group and functionally to the Industrial Sector HR SVP.

Position Overview:

In this highly visible role, you will serve as the champion in driving talent, cultural and structural initiatives aimed at advancing the business' competitive position. You will have the opportunity to build the organizational capability within the team by developing both internal talent and attracting external talent continuously strengthening the overall health of the succession pipeline. As a member of the Business' Senior Leadership Team, you will be a thought leader who will provide key observations, ideas and suggestions, and be an outspoken advocate in identifying both risk and opportunities.

Essential Functions:
• Serve as an advisor to the President of Mobility and leadership team, guiding ongoing transformation within the organization.
• Promote trust, inclusion, and accountability across the Business Group.
• Offer HR insights on trends in talent, culture, and external factors.
• Enhance capabilities through Eaton programs, ensuring processes and content align with business strategy and objectives.
• Maintain and share best practices within Mobility Human Resources and identify sharing opportunities across the organization.
• Collaborate with division leaders to strengthen organizational performance.
• Develop and implement HR strategies that support Eaton's business goals and innovation in the mobility sector.
• Manage recruitment, development, and retention of diverse talent to drive company success.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and manage HR policy risks.
• Develop and maintain labor relations strategies, including collective bargaining and dispute resolution.
• Travel: 25% travel expected.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum ten (10) years' professional HR experience
• Minimum five (5) years' experience directly leading teams in a highly matrix, global environment
• Experience developing and executing manufacturing and labor strategies for a business group/division
• Experience working with global/international employment laws
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future

Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA / Master's degree from an accredited institution

The expected annual salary range for this role is $222750.0 - $326700.0 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
