Eaton's Data Center Power Distribution division has an exciting opportunity to join our Human Resources team as the HR Generalist for our Santa Ana, CA facility.

As the HR Generalist you will support HR function for a high growth site through the implementation and deployment of HR policies, programs, and initiatives. This role serves as a critical business partner to the Plant HR Manager at a site with approximately 200 employees.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $77,625 - $113,850 a year.

  • Support the site Human Resources Manager in deploying HR policies, programs and initiatives including but not limited to employment, compensation, employee relations, training, talent acquisition and development, work practices and employee selection to improve the site's organization capability.
  • Support daily employee related activities and processes to promote positive employee relations.
  • Conduct recruiting process including interviews and selection, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines, laws and goals set by the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR Services on all transactional HR matters.
  • Provide assistance and administrative support in the areas of employment processing, HRMS data entry, and recruiting requisition processing and ensure integrity in all HR systems with timely and accurate data entry and frequent audits.
  • Conduct general or specific training sessions where needed based (i.e. AAP Overview, Merit Planning, etc.)
  • Provide counsel and support to resolve interpersonal conflicts and employee relations issues.
  • Work with supervisors/managers on effective handling of retention, performance management, and engagement strategies.
  • Responsible for running and creating reports, analyzing information, and providing data for the Human Resources Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 1 year of human resources generalist experience or experience in a Human Resources function (recruiting,compensation, emloyee engagement, etc.)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in human resources, labor relations or business administration
  • HR experience in a manufacturing environment strongly desired
  • PHR/SPHR Certification
  • Willingness to relocate to other Eaton locations throughout the US for future opportunities
