What you'll do:

Position Overview:

Eaton B-Line is seeking a Human Resources Co-op for participation in its Human Resources Development Program at the Reno site. This Co-op role provides hands-on experience supporting core HR functions within a manufacturing environment, including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and engagement initiatives. The Co-op will assist with documenting HR processes and workflows, coordinating meetings with HR partners, people leaders, and support functions, and supporting site-level HR projects and initiatives.

This Co-op is anticipated to being in May 2026.

The Co-op will gain experience in:

  • Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation coordination, and employee documentation
  • Support employee relations activities, including investigations, documentation, and follow-up
  • Help maintain HR records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Partner with HR team on engagement initiatives, communications, and site events
  • Assist with recruiting activities, including interview scheduling and candidate coordination
  • Support HR reporting, audits, and data entry as needed
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Must be actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program from an accredited institution. Candidates who have already graduated will not be considered.
  • Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA (please don't round).
  • Must be entering Junior year or higher.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
  • Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Reno, NV.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Previous HR Internship experience in manufacturing
