Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a HR Supervisor - Training | Learning and Development.
What you'll do:
Job Summary
Design and execute the talent development strategy to energize the future for the site in all functions and for all employees. Create a comprehensive program to build the skills needed to deliver on our plant and division strategies. Assess, design, develop, and manage learning solution projects, often through blended solutions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand learning needs and to develop strategic learning plans to address them.

- Collaborate with internal client groups to scope and charter learning projects, assist in learning needs assessments, and design strategic learning plans
- Co champion alongside the HR Manager OpA assessments
- Continuously build and enhance internal trainer capabilities to expand employee reach and increase quality learning offerings addressing business needs
- Build organizational capability by supporting the Eaton talent management and organizational effectiveness initiatives in areas such as succession planning organizational capability reviews, leadership development training, and performance management
- Implement and manage annual training programs
- Enhance learning experience following best practice instructional design methodologies to assess, design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solutions
- Actively promote and drive global learning curriculums
- Support university relations strategy execution
- Ensure compliance with assemblers certification process according to ISO 9001 guides and internal policies
- Build and own skill building curriculums, especially with the functional competencies program through a structured governance, follow up and employee engagement
- Establish vendor management strategy and identify high-impact, cost-effective partnerships; maintain vendor / partner data base
- Create effective mechanisms to keep updated training records and provide evidence as needed
- Manage a diverse array of scholarship programs on site: language, masters, etc
- Plan and manage the learning budget, ensuring cost-effective training solutions
- Monitor learning effectiveness and measure the business impact of key programs
- Enable data-based decision-making by actively managing accurate learning data and analyzing adoption trends
-If certain negotiations with INFOTEP or any other vendor are required, this role, together with the one for PCS will collaborate together to present one unique proposal for all three plants in Haina
Qualifications:
Education level required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Years and area of experience required
- Minimum 5 years of increasing responsibility in a progressive HR environment supporting global functions and/or manufacturing operations
Technical knowledge
- High level of proficiency with MS Office products/database management skills
- Expertise in learning needs assessment, customer-facing roles, learning solutions design methodology, and toolkits
- Familiarity with adult learning theory, facilitation skills, and development of learning solutions (eLearning, face-to-face training, etc.).
- Experience in leveraging learning technologies and their application is preferred
