Our EMEA Business Service Center (BSC) in Budapest is Eaton's largest office in the region. With a diverse team of over 700 people, representing 40+ nationalities and speaking 20+ languages, the BSC is the central hub for business services. It empowers seamless operations and drives exceptional results across our electrical, industrial, and corporate teams.

What you'll do:

The HR Business Partner has responsibility for providing HR leadership and support to dedicated functional leaders and their teams in the Eaton EMEA BSC organization. They drive the relevant functional talent management strategy, organizational effectiveness, talent assessment/selection, and any employee relations management within the function in partnership with HR CoE-s. They will also help to establish functional goals and strategic plan, particularly as related to human capital needs.

1. Business partner: Act as business partner, solution provider, advisor and counselor for the functional leader and team. Understand and contribute to the business strategies and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability. Act as a role model and sponsor for Eaton Values and Leadership Attributes.

2. Change agent: Champion organization change to facilitate alignment of human resources plans to the function's strategic plan. Drive culture changes to align the organization with the strategy.

3. Compliance & Governance: Ensure Eaton's internal processes, country laws and applicable labor relations requirements are communicated, understood and complied with within the functions in the BSC.

4. HR Functional Excellence:

  • Build organizational capability to meet the current and future needs of the business; utilize data including OCA (Organizational Capability Assessment) to assess and address functional talent development needs, including succession planning, talent acquisition, organization design, diversity, retention and tracking of OCA actions.
  • Work in conjunction with the dedicated functional leaders and teams to advance functional excellence (culture, employee engagement); advise on functional competencies, developmental tools, methodologies, standardized job descriptions.
  • Ensure that all HR activities and programs are implemented in accordance with Eaton's HR strategy and the Function's strategy in collaboration with centralized resources (e.g., HR Services, HR COEs).
  • Work together and ensure that employee engagement and its agreed actions are followed, executed and communicated.
  • Lead talent management and succession planning to ensure future-ready teams.
  • Champion employee well-being, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in HR or equivalent HR certification
  • Firm experience in multi-national HR Operational and Management environment across EMEA

Skills:

  • Experience in HR partnering with senior leadership to create and drive strategic HR and key functional organization initiatives on a regional scale
  • Experience in coaching and advising senior executives on business-critical issues
  • Lean or scrum master certificate is a big plus
  • Exposure to Organization Development, including Organizational Change Management, Compensation, Talent Assessment, and Employment Law coupled with practical savvy for coaching management on these topics and applying the knowledge to training and deployment
  • Experience in driving organizational and cultural changes in a complex environment
  • Experience in introducing new HR initiatives/practices and in driving continuous improvement in a multinational environment
  • Exposure to the manufacturing and power management industry a plus
  • Able to cooperate and influence in a matrix organization
  • Fluent English mandatory
  • Collaborative and team-work focused style is a must
