GTM Supervisor
What you'll do:
Primary Function:
The GTM Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the business is in compliance with the Mexican Customs and International regulations regarding import and export of material, information and technology.
The major roles of the GTM Supervisor are: customs regulation compliance, personnel management, productivity and report management. This position oversees the implementation and governing of the trade policies applicable to import and/or export trade operations to ensure full compliance.
This position will ensure to align local goals with the goals of the Mexico GTM Manager, US GTM Manager and VAT Certification Manager. Also, the supervisor must escalate all customs issues in order to receive guidance/assistance to address the issue and drives continuous improvement while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).

Essential Functions:
1. Ensure being in compliance with reporting management including among others:
2. Annual IMMEX report
3. Annex 30 Monthly presentation
4. Monthly Presentation of INEGI reports
5. Administrate USMCA and FTA programs
6. Sub-manufacturer reports
7. Customs broker billing reports.
8. Balance Score card
9. VAT and OEA / CTPAT certification Self-Assesment
10. Supplier audits
11. IMMEX compliance Self-Assessment: Profile update and certification
12. MLA Annual Report and ITAR compliance management
13. Value Reconciliation
14. Creating internal procedures needed to enhance the import and export trade operation to ensure the business being in compliance with the international customs regulations; align those procedures with Eaton standards.
15. Provides analytical support to implement processes and procedures for new international activity including acquisitions, initiatives and projects
16. Communicate policy, procedures and economic issues that affect the business. Assist in providing training, advice and guidance to other internal areas as necessary
17. Coordinate with the COE (VAT and GTM) supervisor and serve as the local liaison providing insight and assistance to fellow COE subject matter experts about classification, FTA's and VAT certification compliance
18. Ensure the correct applicability of Governmental programs
19. Stay up-to-date with the Law and other customs regulations applicable to import and export trade operation
20. Assure that the business is in full compliance with Mexican and International Customs Law and Customs Regulations including:
21. Accurate open customs balance
22. Administrate and supervise the Annex 24 Software
23. Administrate ANNEX 30 (VAT Tax Credit Reports)
24. Implement new import/export rules published at any time by the authority
25. Have the temporary fixed asset inventory under control
26. Ensure the proper application of Export Licenses
27. Assure the proper procedures for the US Reconciliation
28. Accurate & timely processing of Machinery & equipment transitions
29. Accurate & timely processing of virtual import/exports operation
30. Ensure the proper recordkeeping based on the current customs regulations on import and export transactions and Free-Trade Agreements

35. Able to identify compliance problems and respond with appropriate actions; identify people needed to resolve compliance problems and collaborate to develop corrective action plans. #LI-DG2
Qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
- Experience in trade management ensuring compliance in the areas of import/export regulations, corporate policies and best management practices. Demonstrated leadership, outstanding analytical and communication skills, team building, and internal/external customer focus in order to complete a multitude of interdisciplinary projects.
- Bachelor's degree is a must
- 5 to 7 years of experience in managing special trade programs in an objective manner for achieving of significant savings in time for the operational processes and/or economic impact (either directly or indirectly).
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role leading trade compliance team
- Manufacturing background is a must
- Exp with IMMEX Program Administration and IVA certication. Annex 24 & 30 as well
- Strong CTPAT & OEA certification's background is a must.
- Strong import-export process background is a must.
