Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a GTM MX Sr. Compliance Analyst.

Job Summary

The GTM MX Compliance and Solutions Senior Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with Annex 24 regulations for all Mexican legal entities. This role involves conducting validations for data catalogs, import and export operations, backflush, temporality, waste and scrap reporting, among other tasks. Additionally, the incumbent will perform audits and risk assessments across Mexican legal entities, focusing on IMMEX Annex 24 compliance. The Senior Analyst plays a key role in identifying compliance gaps, areas for improvement, and potential penalties. These will be detected through strong collaboration with the site GTM teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented

Job Responsibilities

  • Management of Annex 24 (inventory control system for IMMEX operations)
  • Proficient in Mexican Customs Law, General Foreign Trade Rules, IMMEX Decree, and other trade compliance frameworks
  • Experienced in conducting customs audits, validating pedimentos, and performing risk assessments
  • Skilled in data analytics for Annex 24, including temporality, backflush, and balance reports
  • Capable of analyzing Bills of Materials (BOMs), standard costs, and physical inventory across ERP systems
  • Expertise in creating work instructions, procedures, and policies to ensure regulatory alignment
  • Definition of compliance metrics
  • Stay up-to-date with laws and other customs regulations applicable to import and export trade operations
  • Perform all job functions with adherence to ELM

Qualifications:

Education level required

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Years and area of experience required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in trade compliance operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Annex 24, Mexico's customs regulations, as well as other government agency regulations

Technical knowledge

  • Possesses strong knowledge of the IMMEX program and Annex 24 solution, as well as Mexican foreign trade laws and regulations Experienced with AEO and VAT certifications
  • Knowledgeable about various types of ERP transactions in Mexico
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Fluent in English
