Global Trade Management Sr Analyst
What you'll do:
Primary Function:
This position is responsible for managing and complying with national and international customs laws and regulations, as well as interacting with Eaton's various Centers of Excellence and the VAT and GTM teams.
Essential Functions:
1 Responsible for supporting and properly managing the Global Trade Management (GTM) policies, procedures, and initiatives of the GTM Country Manager and ensuring compliance with government regulatory requirements and procedures.
2 It is responsible for submitting reports to customs authorities, such as the Monthly Report of Annex 30, INEGI Reports, Submaquila Reports, etc.
3 Ensure that accurate information is entered and maintained in the customs inventory control system.
4 Detect, mitigate, and eliminate customs risks to avoid fines and penalties.
5 Carry out the monthly download process, determine root causes, mitigate risks, and stay within the KPIs established by the company.
6 Maintain control of the Eighth Rules, Prosec, and other tariff deferral programs.
7 Maintain the balance of monetary funds in the account for payment of customs duties.
8 Assist GTM operational positions with questions, procedures and process implementations
9 Close the findings of GTM's bi-monthly customs audits.
10 Responsible for the veracity of BOMs in the Annex 24 systems
11 Obtencion, revision y entrega de informes de Anexo 30.
12 Administracion, gestion y mantenimientos de requerimientos de programas y certificaciones en materia de Comercio exterior.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in International bussiness, international trade or related.
Years and area of experience required: 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance, import-export process and international trade (Global trade management)
