Eaton's FMC (Fuel & Motion Controls) division is hiring a Supply Chain Director. Preference to be based at a major Eaton hub.
What you'll do:
Division Supply Chain Director - FMC Division ($1.1B)
Lead the global supply chain strategy for Eaton's FMC Division, overseeing $500M in spend across 11 sites. Drive cost reduction, supplier performance, and operational excellence while supporting new product introductions and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own material cost-out strategy and profit plan attainment.
- Lead SIOP, inventory optimization, and supplier management initiatives.
- Develop and execute global commodity and localization strategies.
- Support new product development with supplier sourcing and capital planning.
- Drive supplier quality improvements and corrective actions.
- Champion make/buy decisions and outsourcing strategies.
- Align with Aerospace Group standards and report to VP of Supply Chain and SVP/GM of FMC.

Qualifications:
The position requires very strong managerial and leadership skills. This person must continually demonstrate a complete understanding of both operational need and business objectives. The ability to quickly analyze operational issues is needed. In-depth understanding of global business practices is highly desired.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in operations, engineering, supply chain management, or general business
- Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing, material management or other SCM related position
- Minimum 3 year's experience in supervisory position
- Proven leadership in global supply chain management
- Strong background in cost reduction, supplier development, and strategic sourcing.
- Experience with new product introduction and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA

- Expertise in MRP, Lean, JIT, VMI, and supply chain systems.

- Skilled in mentoring, change leadership, and operational partnership.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $176249.97 - $258499.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
