Finance Co-op
Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Finance Co-op.
The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour.

Position Overview:
As an Accounting & Finance CO-OP you will support a manufacturing facility finance team with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting analysis. This role offers exposure to cost accounting, budgeting, variance analysis, and operational decision support at a leadership level. This position will work cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and leadership to ensure accurate financial tracking and data-driven improvements.
In this role you will:
• Assist with daily production and financial reporting, including material usage, scrap, and labor cost tracking.
• Support month-end closing activities, preparing journal entries and reconciliations as needed.
• Analyze cost-variances related to material, labor, and overhead spending.
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards for manufacturing plant leadership to support operational decision making.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• No relocation is provided. Must reside within 50 miles of Carol Stream, Illinois.
• Basic Knowledge of financial principles and Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Completed coursework or prior internship experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting or FP&A.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP or similar).
• Knowledge of standard cost accounting or inventory management.
• Ability to interpret and present financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
Position Criteria:
• Ability to work with minimum direction and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
