Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Experienced Digital Factory Engineer.
This role is located in Jonesville, SC. Relocation assistance will be provided.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year.

What you'll do:
The Digital Engineer will initially report to the project Panama team and then upon start up transition to the new Jonesville, SC operations team. This team is responsible for leading the deployment of multiple I4.0 technologies including augmented reality, factory simulation, real time machine monitoring, overall equipment effectiveness, Digital work instructions, Data Analytics, and Machine learning support of the new Jonesville, SC transformer manufacturing plant.

In this role you will:
- Champion a Digital Mindset for for the project team and operations staff.
- Develop project scopes of work
- Participate in Eaton global technology councils
- Lead the deployment Industry 4.0 tools & technologies into manufacturing operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional resources to execute projects: Information Technology, Operational Excellence, Production Operations, Quality, Facilities
- Guide & support project teams on machine connectivity & data acquisition activities
- Work as liaison to divisional manufacturing leaders and plant teams
- Align Industry 4.0 project objectives to continuous improvement initiatives focusing on strategic value streams
- Assist project team in the development, submission & approval of business cases for Industry 4.0 project opportunities
- Train key plant personnel on the Industry 4.0 tools & technologies being deployed to ensure successful adoption and achieve improvement objectives
- Drive accountability for project execution and deliverables
- Develop knowledge & expertise in the Industry 4.0 tools & technologies to be a subject matter expert (SME)
- Assist project managers in the technical specificaitons, design reviews, run-offs, and installation of purchased equipment
- Working with IT team to establish machine network connectivity
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing and operations environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Jonesville, SC.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Broad manufacturing process knowledge (Sheet Metal fabrication, Molding, Assembly, Wiring, Painting, Machining, etc.)
- IT integration experience
- Experience with: PLC Programming, machine connectivity protocols, Kepware, Digital data Management software (e.g. Thingworx, PCaT, Ignition, etc,)
- Project management experience

- Strong problem solving and creativity skills
- Experience with managing external consultants, suppliers, and tooling design/development companies
- Self-motivated and results-driven with strong initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident presenting at all organizational levels.
- Skilled at influencing and leveraging resources to achieve outcomes.
- Effective in complex, matrixed environments across divisions and functions.
