What you'll do:
The role is required to perform functional tasks supporting the custom switchboard assembly business which is central to Eaton ANZ CPC strategy for Eaton growth product. Estimating and design engineers will play an integral part of the inquiry to install customer experience by providing estimating solutions and design drawings accurately and effeciently for various stakeholders.
"• Expertise in Sheet metal designs, preferred in switchgear products.
• Estimate solutions using Eaton products/services to maximize order value and margins.
• Prepare accurate and detailed proposals and tenders aligned with customer requirements and expectations.
• Maintain and update the drawing library to ensure accessibility and version control.

• Meet estimation targets and improve the conversion rate of quotes to actual sales.
• Demonstrating in 3D Modelling, 2D drafting & detailing standards using Solidworks, AutoCAD and proficient in PLM(SAP/Enovia) fundamentals.
• Knowledge in Material Selection of Electro-mechanical products
• Identify Costout options to improve margin and support to drive the cost out/VAVE projects
• Manufacturing Industry Exposure like Fabrication/ Machining and moulding "
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. (Electromechanical exposure)
>3 Years, >5 Years if DEE in Electrical industry dealing LV products
Skills:
"Strong understanding of LV Main Switchboard
Distribution board design principals.
Competent in design tools i.e. Solidworks and Autocad"
"• Able to work in dynamic environment, and to support high challenges.
• Good interpersonal skills and planning ability
• Exposure in Industry standard practises, products manufacturing and processes
• Demonstrate strong team working spirit and effective communication.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge in MS office, SAP"
