We are seeking a Energy Transition Engineer - Customer Facing to join our Middle East Energy Transition Engineering team in Dubai, UAE.

This position will play a key role in discovering sales opportunities where Energy Transition will play an important role. Thus, they will be engaged in supporting the launch and sales growth activities of Eaton new Energy Transition Offering.
What you'll do:
- Responsible for delivering the budget / profit plan allocated for the Energy Transition business for the Middle East region.
- Creating strong relationships for ongoing projects, together and with the support of the Application Engineers, with designers, general contractors, installers, investors.
- Managing the complete commercial cycle beginning from prospecting, pipeline building, proposals and submittals, support commercial negotiations and closing orders and effective fulfillment of orders and payments, with the support of relevant support teams and stakeholders within Eaton.
- Developing the business opportunities for the Energy Transition customer portfolio within various segments and within multiple customer segments - EV Retail / Facilities Management / Charge Point Operators / MEP Contractors & other stakeholders & investors in the Energy Transition segment.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers exploring energy transition strategies across the Middle East region.
- Support the launch and expansion of energy transition projects in various sectors.
- Lead the technical engagement lifecycle-from discovery and design discussions to solution alignment and post-deployment support.
- Collaborate internally with product, application engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of market trends and evolving customer needs within the energy transition ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's / master's degree in electrical engineering, Software Engineering, or similar (Business related education will be considered as well).
- 5-10 years of relevant experience, with proven record of success in diagnosing complex customer needs (ideally electrical area, however other relevant experiences will be considered).
- Commercial experience.
Skills:
- Knowledge of products & solutions within the Energy Transition space (Renewable Energy concepts / EV Chargers / Energy Storage Systems / Back-end Software Platforms etc.) will be a significant consideration.
- Ability to navigate effectively and deliver results within a dynamic industry space with changing technologies, knowledge gaps within stakeholders and in a highly competitive environment.
