EHS Senior Specialist
Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a EHS Senior Specialist.
What you'll do:
Main purpose of this position is to provide EHS technical support and ensure the correct deployment of Corporate Standards and requirements. 
Based on global guidelines and under EHS BRM requests this position is responsible to deploy and support all safety and environmental programs and procedures as well as monitor the effectiveness of those programs through leading and lagging indicator including the compliance with EHS&S policies and legal requirements.
This position is responsible to providing fresh-eye assessments, support sites during the self, global and third-party assessments.
This role provides regional trainings for all MESH programs including. 
Related to EHS incidents this role shall support and assess the investigation including near misses, releases, incidents, and losses. 
This position is responsible for monitoring and tracking sites compliance of EHS legal requirements and support in the safety governmental permissions applicable to the company.
It is part of this role, analyze data, identify trends to support site prioritize actions, prevent incidents, improve environmental metrics and be in compliance with local legal requirements.
This position requires interaction with corporate team and a strong relationship with EHS team across the South and Central America regions.
> Provide safety technical support including all Eaton MESH requirements, such as trainings, on-site visits, and virtual assessments.
> Deploy the new global guideline in the region.
> Ensure the appropriate implementation of Corporate MESH programs through regular follow-ups.
> Supporting the process of MESH global and self-assessments including ISO certifications.
> Support businesses to deploy safety and industrial hygiene program to be in compliance with EHS regulations and MESH requirements.
> Assess the implementation of safety-related activities evaluating the progress of the projects and measuring the results.
> Monitoring EHS management systems performance in terms of safety and industrial hygiene results providing recommendation for improvements. (E.g., ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)
> Sharing EHS Best Practices and Lessons Learned from plants creating a learning culture and continuous improvement. 
> Support to Emergency Preparedness Program and BCM program.
> Periodically review the Safety Stand Down programs reporting the results to corporate team.
> Interact with global and regional teams participating in global and regional projects.
> Work in partnership with sites collaborating in carrying out internal audits, programs and safety and campaigns EHS related. Facilitating the risk assessment process at the locations to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects. Work with Regional EHS BRM to define targets and objectives based on key EHS risks and global aspirational goals.
> Support the implementation and the maintenance of the "Zero Incident Safety Culture" program(s) Drive and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout all sites.

Qualifications:
- This position requires degree in engineering.
- Post-graduate safety or environment engineering
Skills:
- Extensive experience with emphasis in EHS including EHS programs.
- Knowledge in Brazilian environmental and safety regulations.
- Very strong background in ISO 14001, 45001.
- Incident investigation tools.
- Understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes.
