Eaton's IS AER MSD is currently seeking a EHS Senior Analyst in Orchard Park, NY.
In this role, you will undertake tasks and activities directly contributing to the creation of products and the achievement of revenue targets. This role covers a large variety of specific jobs and skills that may be required within the EHS function.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year.

• Develop site-specific EHS policies and procedures.
• Maintain site's ISO 14001 certifications.
• Collect data from various sources and prepare reports for internal and external customers.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure occupational safety and environmental compliance.
• Participate in regulatory inspections and third-party certification audits.
• Facilitate incident reporting and investigation.
• Monitor progress preventive and corrective actions.
• Facilitate management of change process for new processes, equipment and facility changes.
• Track progress of site's safety, health and environmental objectives and targets.
• Perform risk assessments. Ensure workers have access to and are using proper PPE for identified hazards.
• Serve as an emergency coordinator and help maintain emergency action plans.
• Develop compliance trainings and site-wide communications to address near misses, incidents, and to promote employee engagement.
• Motivate and drive culture change/awareness.
• Provides basic EHS training.
• Follow all prescribed safety and environmental principles.
• All other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university
• 5+ years related work experience in a manufacturing environment in a safety or environmental role.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee or Refugee
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in sciences or equivalent.
• CSP, CHMM or equivalent certification.
• RCRA 40 CFR, DOT 49 CFR, First Aid/CPR/AED, OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Training.
• Experience in conducting and leading ISO 14001/45001 and EHS compliance audits.
• Ability to listen effectively and express ideas clearly to exchange information in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills to independently prioritize daily activities to meet department objectives.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and processes.
• Experience in developing and conducting EHS training.
Skills:
• Technical experience in OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Ability to lead the work of subcontractor staff.
• Experience overseeing EHS for large-scale site expansion/construction projects
• Ability and willingness to serve as delegated authority for department on a consistent basis, including acting as primary emergency coordinator.
• Ability to use required testing equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience working with all functional levels of a business, including organizational leaders.
• Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make independent judgments on technical issues.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Travel required at least 20% of the time.
