Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a EHS Analyst. This role is based out of our S Milwaukee, WI location.
This position supports environmental, health, safety and security at the South Milwaukee, WI manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include supporting EHS activities at the site; performing risk assessments; compliance inspections; design and/or implementation of EHS solutions; internal reporting of EHS performance; communication of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements; closure of EHS and regulatory findings in a timely manner; completion of training for required EHS personnel; and creating a strong zero incident EHS culture that engages employees throughout the site in EHS teams and processes.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

What you'll do:
• Supports EHS Manager and site for all OSHA compliance programs, including, but not limited to; PPE, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Machine Guarding, Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space, Industrial Powered Trucks, Contractor safety, and Hazard communication.
• Supports EHS Manager in development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of corporate and business group EHS strategic initiatives. Including the development of goals to drive EHS culture, compliance, and result.
• Responsible to the tracking of appropriate leading and lagging indicators to track EHS performance.
• Supports EHS Manager with developing and conducting required training.
• Develop campaigns to promote zero incident EHS culture throughout site.
• Coordinate the annual EHS self-assessment (evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations) with EHS Manager and EHS element champions.
• Responsible for using established EHS data processes such as Benchmark and MESH Prism to manage data.
• Supports identification, design, implementation of improved safety or environmental measures for work stations, equipment, or other operations in support of continuous improvement.
• Supports work station risk assessments and ergonomic assessments.
• Participate in maintaining the site EHS&S targets and objectives (MESH Plan) in support of corporate, regional, and business group EHS&S strategic initiatives designed to drive EHS&S culture, compliance, and results.
• Support driving preventative and proactive action projects to mitigate and eliminate risks through root cause identification and corrective actions for environmental, safety and health activities.
• Assist in ensuring that the federal, state, and local EHS regulations are met including air, land, and water to provide a safe working environment for employees, and a clean and healthful environment for the community.
• Assist in maintaining fiscally and socially responsible methods and processes of managing natural resources and waste.
• Participate in site efforts in the development and deployment of EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, VPP, MESH) to ensure that key EHS operational controls are in place. Participate in ensuring all action items identified within all EHS management systems are resolved in a timely manner.
• Comply with Eaton's ethics policy and keep the EHS Manager informed of issues associated with regulatory compliance.
• Participate in investigations, measurement, and evaluations of environmental, safety, and health conditions and ensure that relevant research, development, planning, design, and advisory and related activities occur.
• Maintain positive employee engagement while supporting the implementation of strategic safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution (EHS related degree required)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of South Milwaukee, WI will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910
• Comprehension of industry, state, and country EHS&S requirements
• Internship experience in EHS
