The expected annual salary range for this role is $83,250.00 - $122,100.00 a year.

What you'll do:

The Ecommerce and Systems Analyst is responsible for driving the growth of Eaton's Business E-Commerce initiatives by establishing and managing the Electronic Commerce relationships between Eaton's Businesses and its customers as it relates to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

The Ecommerce and Systems Analyst will be responsible for all management of day-to-day EDI activity both incoming and outgoing, and will coordinate activities with both the trading partner and internal departments, such as IT, Inside and Outside Sales, Marketing, Shipping, Billing/Finance, etc.

The Ecommerce and Systems Analyst will be required to drive quantitative and qualitative analysis and recommendations for increasing EDI volumes, as well as drive improvement opportunities for increasing the volume of automated release of EDI orders.

The Ecommerce and Systems Analyst will do any SAP/SAP S4 QTC testing that pertains to Eaton's Business in a timely manner and apply critical thinking and system knowledge to understand potential impact of any system change on the Business.

The Ecommerce and Systems Analyst will lead customer facing discussions, conduct any presentations regarding EDI requirements and/or research that has been performed that may pertain to the effectiveness of the E-Commerce initiatives or SAP/SAP S4 QTC initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Manage the establishment of EDI trading partner relationships with customers - both direct and distributors - by being the focal point of all requests as well as by aggressively pursuing potential trading partners that represent significant business opportunities to Eaton's Business Units as it relates to EDI. Included will be all agreements on standards, set-up of any conversion tables, and agreement on transaction sets to be used.
B. Manage the implementation of new EDI trading partners by submitting, testing, and approving new trading partner set up requests to the Corporate EDI team and submitting, testing and approving map changes associated with the implementation of new partners.
C. Maintain all technical aspects of the operating system relating to updates of standards, conversion tables, procedures, etc. This includes all necessary interactions with trading partners, corporate and division MIS, and internal departments.
D. Oversee the daily operation of EDI functions. This will include daily monitoring and exception management of all inbound and outbound EDI transactions to verify completion. Any transaction failing to be completed satisfactorily will require administrator's oversight or intervention to correct in a timely manner. This will be done in conjunction with trading partners and internal Business Unit.
E. Provide appropriate weekly and monthly EDI metrics in accordance with established goals, as well as appropriate project plans for meeting established goals. This includes any data analysis and recommendations for process/program changes that would provide opportunities for exceeding established goals.
F. Execute all SAP/SAP S4 QTC testing in a timely manner. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources. Reconciles conflicting information and makes effective decisions on validity of system changes. Understand and communicate severity of impact on current system.
G. Provide consulting and subject matter expertise in SAP/SAP S4 QTC to Business Unit employees. Includes education/training, problem/issue resolution, and project management. Drive the use of standard processes and applications while benchmarking other divisions for process improvements.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 2 years of data analysis experience
• Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future
• No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of either Arden, NC; Charlotte, NC; Moon Township, PA, or Raleigh, NC. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of SAP/SAP S4.
• Experience with Electronic Data Interface (EDI) & Vendor Management Inventory (VMI).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Outlook, Word & Excel).

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with both internal and external customers via phone, e-mail, and other written and verbal communication mediums.
• Must be able to maintain a positive attitude under stress.
• Strong logic and programming skills.
