Eaton's EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a Distribution Utility - 5S. Roanoke, VA facility operates under Eaton's Electrical Sector providing products for Data Centers, Commercial Customers, Mining and Food & Beverage. The position offers full-time employment of 40 hours and benefits consisting of medical, dental, vision, and retirement accounts (401K).

The hourly rate for this position is $19.31 per hour. The core hours are 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.

The Distribution Center is filling a position for a Utility/5S Team Member on 2nd shift.

In this function:

  • Communication with shift lead/coordinator/supervisor
  • Manage trash and recycling
  • Sort and stack pallets
  • Remove stacks of broken pallets from staging areas
  • Indoor/Outdoor work will be required for the organizing of all materials.
  • Be able to operate non-motorized material handling equipment.
  • Clean, mop, sweep aisles and locations as well as pick up trash.
  • Assists with facilities cleaning, and other maintenance duties.
  • Reports and removes safety hazards and obstacles.
  • Operate floor scrubber
  • Other tasks or duties to include production tasks as requested
  • Material handling equipment could be necessary or required as the job description can be modified

Qualifications:

Basic (Required):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Remain standing for an extended period of time up to 8 hours
  • Able to perform constant movement of the arms
