The expected annual salary range for this role is $141000.03 - $206800.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Job Summary
We are seeking an expert-level Digital Manufacturing Senior Program Manager with broad experience in program management. The ideal candidate will translate business or functional vision into plans and guide their execution, participating in the development of business or functional strategy and being accountable for results that impact the entire business or function. Senior Program Manager will be responsible for the most complex programs in the IT Portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program plans and strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage complex program activities, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment of program initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of program strategies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members to help them achieve program objectives.
  • Communicate program initiatives and their impact to all stakeholders effectively.

Expected Outcomes and Success Metrics:

  • Lead the regional deployments of global MES Program from design through deployment, overseeing multiple interconnected work streams to ensure successful delivery across sites
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global MES strategy with standardized approach
  • Coordinate all IT/IM related activities throughout the project lifecycle in line with the overall project plan
  • Monitor schedules, budgets, and resources across the program
  • Report program status, risks, and mitigation plans to executive sponsors and the global PMO
  • Ensure the integration of MES with ERP (e.g., SAP), SCADA, automation systems, historians, and lab systems (LIMS)
  • High Stakeholder Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of satisfaction among stakeholders by effectively communicating program initiatives and their impact, and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Effective Collaboration: Achieve seamless integration and alignment of complex program initiatives with various departments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of program strategies, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 10+ years of experience in program management or a related project management role.
  • Expertise in manufacturing IT systems, manufacturing engineering, and automation systems.
  • Previous program management experience specfically with manufacturing IT systems deployment.
  • Candidate must reside locally within 50 miles of any of the posted Eaton locations. Relocation is not available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering , Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of program management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Previous experience/knowledge in implementing and managing SAP S4/HANA systems .
  • Experience in business process management, data management, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in a global environment with minimal supervision, managing cross-functional teams across different geographies.
  • Patience and empathy working with mentees and people new to Agile.
  • Comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Expertise in change management and the ability to drive organizational change effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Expert understanding of IT product management and/or modern product delivery processes on a global, multi-site scale, encompassing multi-million-dollar vendor contracts.
  • Experience in guiding product development and managing product backlogs.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and importance of integrating security into every stage of development lifecycle.
  • Strong familiarity with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.
  • Certification in program management (e.g., PMP, PgMP).
