Deputy Manager-SCM

What you'll do:

This position is within the Supply Chain department in Coimbatore, India. Candidate will be key player to develop new sources . This will include raw materials, Material machine components ,Stamped components, Electroplating bought out parts, traded and subcontracted parts. Development of suppliers for tool dependent products, resolving the technical issues with the suppliers.

• Identifying sources for requirements (RM, Machining, PDC, GDC, Rubber & Plastic molding, & other BOM related direct materials) without compromising QCD
• Supplier assessment, evaluation & re-evaluation Price negotiation & finalization
• Contract negotiation & Supplier relationship management execution
• Ensuring cost reduction in purchasing and outsourcing
• Working on new RFQ's with competitive costing
• Follow-up parts from supplier to meet customer requirement both internal and external
• Maintaining SCM related documents as per AS9100

• Understanding of Engineering document/drawing
• Microsoft office tools
