Eaton is seeking a Segment Business Development Engineer and Customer Solutions EMEA Manager to be responsible for driving growth techno-commercially and meeting the sales and pipeline objectives. With specific focus and responsibility for xModular solution and program and the continued development of Eaton MV solutions revenue in the Data Centre segment. This person will collaborate closely with Key Account, CSOs, segment teams, operations to develop and execute profit plans aimed at achieving specific sales milestones, including the price management (ECOSAL) and profitability. This person will be tasked with identifying and capitalizing on profitable business opportunities while driving market expansion efforts by managing the business development managers and front-end application team as his/her direct reports.

What you'll do:

• Driving the business unit's growth targets and implementing the segment strategy effectively.
• Align EMEA segment strategies withing the global segment strategies by actively representing the business unit in working groups with Electrical Sector management.
• Collaborate with the KAM, CSO and segment teams to develop and execute the profit plan, providing technical and commercial insights and application requirements.
• Lead marketing initiatives and guide segment sales and CSOs to drive market expansion.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners, and vendors.
• Lead team to enhance organizational capabilities and stay updated on market trends.
• Establish cross-functional teams to foster sustainable growth.
• Promote Eaton's capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages in electrical distribution and backup applications.
• Drive tendering business by offering system design assistance and application support.
• Assist in optimizing customer designs through product selection, layouts, comparisons, and system configurations.
• Gather market and customer needs to inform segment roadmap and strategic planning.
• Support designer/customer/segment events to drive specification and inclusion of Eaton in AVL.
• Contribute to marketing activities including material development, communication, and participation in trade shows.
• Provide management with key market insights, opportunity status, and tactics for capturing new business.
• Cultivate new customer relationships and nurture existing ones to maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Understand the competitive landscape and position the company effectively.
• Master Eaton's product portfolio and software tools for prompt response and effective support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical / electronics); an additional business administration degree is preferred.
• Strong experience in Electricial Infrastructure design for critcial systems, with some years of which relate to data centre design.
• Experience of Sales in the data centre industry.
• Experince at both product and project level.
• Sales experince directly with data centre owner / operators and associated contractors.
• Strong knowledge of distribution grids, electrical infrastructures and IEC MV Assembly products and transformers with its applications.
• Knowledge of Codes and Standards .
• Understanding project life cycles and key stakeholders.
• Leadership skills with ability to build collaborative relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Segment specific application know-how.
• Knowledge of price positioning in different countries & segments.
