Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Corporate Development & Planning Associate.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What will you do?

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most important and impactful decisions for the company, such as acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with senior leaders, business units, and functional teams across the organization, and present your work to various stakeholders, including management, our Board, and the investment community.

You will also conduct in-depth analyses of companies, markets, and industries, and assess their attractiveness and fit with our corporate strategy.

What will make you successful?

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, communication skills, and project leadership skills. You will also need to be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and have a solid understanding of valuation models and methodologies.

We are looking for candidates who are diverse in their backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, and who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to our team.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited university OR obtain a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) graduation date by June of 2024
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in corporate development, corporate strategic planning, consulting, finance and/or investment banking
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional work experience
  • 1+ years of merger and acquisition experience
