Co-op Supply Chain Analyst

Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Co-op Supply Chain Analyst.

The hourly rate for this position is $21.92 per hour.

What you'll do:

Eaton Corporation in Glenolden, PA is part of the Aerospace Group, Fluid and Electrical Distribution (FED) Division, situated just outside of Philadelphia, PA. Our plant manufactures a complete line of condition monitoring and accessory products for lubrication, hydraulic, chemical process, and refrigerant systems, in gas turbine engines, transmissions, gear boxes and other fluid containing systems for transportation, power generation, mobile equipment, mining and manufacturing markets. We have an exciting and challenging opening for a Drexel University Co-op program participant reporting directly to the site's Supply Chain Department. The sites supply chain handles $15 million+ worth of supplier spend, with shipments totaling upwards of $75M in 2023 and $88M in 2024. The department also handles the coordination of key business data such as sales forecast, inventory, and capacity planning. The site is forecasting a business growth phase which is expected to continue for the next several years.

Position Overview:

In this role, we are looking for a data driven individual to help us extract data from our old MRP system for easier use. This ERP system has not been in use for 20+ years and we still use the information. We are looking to have a database created from this extraction for easier use.

With the data project listed above, we will also train you as a back up to the Demand Planning Manager for the different reports that are used to run the day-to-day business and SIOP process. This will provide training on our ERP system as well potentially quoting legacy items (see data project).

In this function you will:

  • Manage a data extraction project.
  • Collect data for various reports that support operations and inventory.
  • Create/update current supply chain procedures.
  • Participate in CI initiatives.
  • Planning and buying activities and any other tasks that require the support of the Supply Chain Department.
  • May also be working with most departments that also work in the facility such as operations, customer service, finance, engineering, etc.
  • May lead meetings if needed and or are interested in doing so.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Applicant must be able to work on own as well as with a team and not be afraid to speak up when necessary.
  • Meetings are done both via Microsoft Teams and in person.
