Our EMEA Business Service Center (BSC) in Budapest is Eaton's largest office in the region. What you'll do:
The Continuous Improvement Analyst reports to the Global Data Analytics Manager and leads initiatives to support Eaton's Global Controllership strategy. The role focuses on analyzing processes and operational workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvements using a variety of operational excellence methodologies and various tools.
Responsibilities:
- Apply operational excellence methodologies-including structured problem-solving, Lean, Six Sigma, and data analytics tools-to streamline processes and enhance performance.
- Analyze financial and operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to monitor process performance and support data-driven decision-making.
- Facilitate workshops to drive process simplification and standardization across teams and workstreams.
- Support global initiatives and ensure alignment with Eaton's strategic goals.
- Provide regular updates on project status, planned savings, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders.
- Support change management efforts by communicating process changes and benefits to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation, training materials, and best practices related to process improvements.
- Contribute to the testing and deployment of new tools and systems, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- Extensive experience in Continuous Improvement of Business Processes in corporate or shared service environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Analytical and Results-Oriented attitude: demonstrates a strong drive for results, with a technical mindset and structured approach to problem-solving.
- Leadership and Initiative personality: capable of leading projects independently, with self-directed initiative and the ability to coach and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Business Acumen: possesses a solid understanding of business and financial fundamentals, with the ability to analyze and design effective business processes.
Required Technical Knowledge:
- Hands-on experience in finance operations (e.g., Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Accounting, FP&A).
- Experience in applying operational excellence methodologies and lead projects independently.
- Solid understanding of business fundamentals and financial principles.
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S4, or Oracle R12.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is an advantage.
- Lean or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Project Management certification is a plus
