Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a CNC Technician - 1st Shift.
The hours for thiis role are 7am -3:30pm
The hourly rate for this position is $38.00 per hour.

What you'll do:
The CNC Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime in a manufacturing environment. This role will perform under minimal supervision complex mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting and repair in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, schematics and sketches.

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues for CNC mills, lathes, and other manufacturing equipment (e.g. presses, drills, etc.). Test equipment to observe performance, dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts, examine parts to detect imperfections, adjust parts and control instruments, repair and / or replace defective parts or tools, etc.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems to resolve in-depth software/ hardware and configuration problems.
• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data. Observe trends and make recommendations to improve equipment reliability.
• Perform electrical power work (e.g. running wire and cable, installing fixtures, performing testing and diagnostics) under the direction of an electrician and in accordance with safety procedures.
• Support installation and setup of new CNC equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance (e.g., cleaning, lubrication, calibration, part replacement).
• Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary. Perform evaluations of alternatives to improve cost and / or reliability of equipment.
• Follow all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of CNC maintenance experience
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with OEM controllers (e.g., FANUC, Doosan, Mazak, etc.)
• Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• 5 years of industrial / CNC maintenance experience.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
Position Criteria:
• Complies with all national and local safety and environmental standards, guidelines and policies e.g. ISO14001.
• Understanding of how to use precision gauging instruments.
• Ability to proactively work with other team members under limited supervision.
• This position requires standing and/or walking for an entire eight - twelve hours.
• Ability to comprehend and follow technical standards and maintenance procedures. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• In-depth knowledge of CNC machine operations
• Knowledge of operating lift truck, material handling equipment, man lifts and hand tools.
• This job requires working daily with lubricants and solvents.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Proven ability to run a machine with multiple settings or specifications
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and drawings
